Founded in 2013, Vets for Life Animal Clinic was built on a passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets and peace of mind for their families. From our first clinic at Tanjong Katong, we’ve since grown to 2 more locations across Singapore — River Valley and Holland Village.

Our team of dedicated veterinarians brings together years of expertise, compassion, and a genuine love for animals. Each vet has their own special interests and skills, but they all share the same commitment — to provide the very best care for your pets and support for your family.
Dr Cheryl Ho graduated from Murdoch University in Australia and has been practising in Singapore since 2009. She has a special interest in oncology and has been helping owners manage their dogs and cats with cancer.
Outside of work, she enjoys her time with her cat. She loves travelling and hiking and eating!
Dr Sara graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and has been working in Singapore. She has special interests in internal medicine and also enjoys treating small mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.
Dr Sara believes in the importance of preventative healthcare and is always happy to discuss individual treatment plans with owners.
At home, she is kept busy pampering her two cats and two dogs.
Dr Prithiba graduated from Murdoch University, Western Australia in 2002 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. She also has an honours degree in Zoology from the National University of Singapore (1998).
She worked in a multibranch practice in Adelaide for a year before returning to Singapore, where she has worked in 2 established practices since. She has managed a wide variety of clinical cases and performed both routine and a variety of elective soft tissue surgeries on both domestic and small mammals.
Dr Prithiba enjoys clinical and preventive medicine as well as surgery. She has developed a keen interest in Ultrasonography over the decade and continues to pursue her interest in sonography, endoscopy and clinical medicine with continuing education. She hopes to always help owners help themselves with their pets.
Dr Prithiba is mother to two boys and a girl who keep her developing as an individual, and has 3 mature dogs who are aging gracefully. She loves nature, music, a good read and listening to the BBC for expanding her perspective.
Dr Gail graduated from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia, and returned to Singapore shortly after to work in a busy multi-vet practice before joining Vet For Life.
Dr Gail has a special interest in internal medicine and ultrasonography, and is passionate about helping her clients to get the best care possible. She loves spending time getting to know her clients, their furries, and their families, and can always be counted on for a chat about anything at all.
Outside of work, she likes cooking, running and reading, although not in that particular order. She is owned by a very naughty Goldie and a shaggy Chow Chow, and lives in anticipation of the day she will have 4 Munchkin cats.
Dr. Dilshad Malhi graduated with a DVM from the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA and has worked in Singapore since 2014.
Dr Dilshad loves all aspects of being a veterinarian, particularly those involving surgery, medicine and problem-solving. She also has a keen interest in ophthalmology, radiology and animal behaviour. She strongly believes in continuous learning and has completed various higher learning courses including a post graduate course in ophthalmology from University of Sydney, a certificate course in nutrition and courses in other aspects of veterinary medicine such as dentistry, behaviour and ultrasound.
Dr. Dilshad is also a strong advocate for animal welfare. She volunteers her time with a number of animal welfare groups and charity organisations around Singapore, and is also a member of the Singapore Veterinary Association, where she is involved with promulgating regulations and policies with animal welfare in mind.
Outside of work, Dr Dilshad enjoys keeping fit with sports and working out, cooking and most of all spending time with her two girls and her adopted cats, Jon Snow and Thor.
Dr Vanessa graduated from the University of Queensland and began her career in small animal general practice in the Gold Coast and Brisbane. She has special interest in dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology
Vanessa firmly believes that all pets deserve the same standard of healthcare we would want for ourselves, and she strives to be a strong advocate and voice for her patients. Vanessa strives to build trust and lasting relationships with clients, working closely with them to achieve the best outcomes for their beloved animals.
Outside of the clinic, Vanessa enjoys rock climbing, yoga, and going for regular runs. She’s big on food and coffee – discovering new cuisines and the ‘best’ fish soup in town.
She unwinds with her cuddly cream tabby cat which she always loves coming home to, and the two of them can often be found curled up on the couch, enjoying a quiet snuggle and each other’s company.
Dr Keshia graduated from Murdoch University in 2011. She has been in small animal practice since then, spending the last 8 years in a busy animal hospital.
She is interested in small animal medicine, diagnostic imaging and emergency medicine, having completed her memberships in small animal medicine with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2017, as well as ultrasonography and neurology courses with CVE University of Sydney, in 2014 and 2018 respectively. She recently completed a course in small animal endoscopy, and continues to enjoy learning the new advances in veterinary medicine.
Dr Keshia believes in evidence based medicine and that compassion and trust are important foundations in veterinary practice. She hopes to offer the best options and care to her clients, and strives to be someone clients can trust to help make the best decisions for their furbabies.
When she is not at work, Dr Keshia is hanging out with her 2 dogs and cat, or getting wet scuba diving or swimming somewhere.
Dr Jeenise Ng graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh. She returned home after graduation and worked at a busy referral hospital in Singapore for 7 years.
She has a special interest in oncology and internal medicine, and obtained Membership in Small Animal Medicine by examination with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2021.
Dr Jeenise is committed to building relationships with clients and their pets, and understands the importance in guiding them to make informed decisions for the well-being of their furry companions.
In addition to her professional pursuits, she also enjoys scuba diving and spending quality time with her loved ones, including her cat, Naomi.
Dr Sharon graduated with a Bachelor in Veterinary Science with Distinction from Massey University in New Zealand. She began her career at a bustling clinic in Auckland before returning home to Singapore to continue her veterinary journey.
She went on to complete a year-long rotating internship at VES Hospital, where she cultivated a special interest in internal medicine. Dr Sharon is passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond and believes in a gentle, compassionate approach to veterinary care. She is dedicated to empowering pet owners through clear communication and education, helping them make confident, informed decisions for their pets.
Outside of the clinic, Dr Sharon enjoys bouldering, Pilates, and discovering new places to eat as a self-proclaimed foodie.
Dr Dawn Chong graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008, and has since then worked at several busy practices in Singapore. She has a keen interest in radiology, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine, and also enjoys volunteering her time at non-profit animal organisations.
To date, she has worked with the SPCA, SOSD, Love Kuching Project and a Thai elephant sanctuary on various projects.
When she isn’t trying to stop both her baby son and her greedy dog Superhans from eating things off the floor, Dawn enjoys exploring new food places with her family, doing yoga (badly), rock-climbing, hanging out with her African Grey parrot, and reading long books halfway.
Dr Jasveena graduated with a Bachelor in Veterinary Science from Massey University in New Zealand. At university, Jasveena especially enjoyed working with horses, birds, dogs and cats, and completed an online Clinical Animal Dentistry Course by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Jasveena enjoys getting to know each pet’s personality and working with owners to find the best possible solutions for everyone. She enjoys researching better alternative methods for each owner so that they can easily care for their pets, alleviating any worries or struggles.
In her free-time she enjoys sketching portraits and staying active by going to the gym or long walks. She also has a deep appreciation for wines which led her to completing the Level 1 Wines & Spirits Education Trust certification.
Dr Keith graduated from the University of Glasgow and has 7 years of experience serving the pets of Yorkshire in the United Kingdom at two busy multidisciplinary hospitals.
Having developed a strong interest in surgery, to further develop his aptitude in the discipline and broaden his surgical repertoire in both soft tissue and orthopaedics, Keith attended several postgraduate courses by institutions such as AO VET, the University of Liverpool, University of Nottingham, Improve International, and CPD Solutions. During this time, he also pursued further postgraduate professional studies and earned the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in General Small Animal Surgery with the University of Liverpool.
He also strongly believes in evidence-based veterinary medicine, always striving to continue learning and keeping updated with the most recent consensus statements to be able to provide the best scientifically proven management strategies for his patients.
